Hint: To increase or decrease the text size in Internet Explorer or Firefox use "Ctrl + '+'" or "Ctrl + '-'" (Safari or Firefox for OS X use "apple + '+'" and "apple + '-'").
The main page allows you to navigate to any section that is avaialble to you. If you have a VEMS account login for additional options (see section 6 below).
To check the availability of a space navigate to Browse > Availability.
To view events navigate to Browse > Events.
To request space for a special event navigate to Reservations > Room Request. Also see section 5 below.
The Browse Events section allows you to browse and search the events being held on campus. Additionaly any holiday or special date information will be displayed.
You may hover over any event for additional information, or click on an event to see related bookings. When in the Monthly or Weekly Calendar views you may click on a date for a list of events that day.
Clicking on the "Filter" link (located in the top right section of the page) allows you to refine you search by date, key words, event type and/or location. Click the "Apply" button to update the page.
Click on one of the sub-sections below to continue.
This section allow you to check the availability of spaces on specific dates.
To skip a day or two ahead, use the the arrows next to the date at the top of
the list.
To skip more than a day or two, or to narrow your search by features specific to
the room, click on the "Filter" link at the top of the list. Then click "Apply"
at the bottom of the pop-up.
To view times before between 12pm and 8am use the navigation arrows to the left
of the 16 Hours at the top of the list.
To request space navigate to Reservations > Room Request and submit your event
information.
This page allows you to request or book space on campus, depending on the rights given to you in the system.
If you do not have a login you can request space by navigating to Reservations >
Room Request and a represenatitve will contact you as soon a possible. If you
have a login, first navigate to My Account > Log In and proceed through the
authication process. Once you have logged in the rest of the process is the same.
To begin, enter the date, start and end times, and # in attendence in the "When and Where" section located in the lefthand section of the page. These four fields are required for event submission. To continue click the "Check Availability" button located at the bottom of the section.
In addition you may also restrict your search to specific buildings, locations,
or rooms. To do this click on the Facilities dropdown and select your
preference. Then click "Check Availability".
Tip: The date that is defaulted in the Date section is the first date avaialble
to you due to your permissions that are defined in the system. To book an event
sooner than the system will allow you, contact the person in your department who
handles bookings or if you are an external client contact Auraria Campus Event
Services by clicking the "Contact" link on the previous page.
Additional info for authenticated users:
At the bottom of the "When and Where" box there is an "Availability Filters" option. Click on the yellow arrows to expand and see the filters available to you. Once you select your filters, click the "Find Space" button to search.
Next, if you are only booking one event (no recurrence) you will be presented with a chart (or "Grid") for the date you entered showing
